Be imitators, of God
Therefore,
As dearly loved children
And live a life of love,Just as Christ
Loved us and gave
Himself for us
As a fragrant offering
And sacrifice
To God.

Be like God.
For that reason,
As you are His chosen beloved
Live love daily
Resembling Christ who gave all
To us
As a beautiful gift of submission
And surrendered all as worship
To God.
Do you ever read a verse that jumps off the page and slaps you in the face? Reading this verse this week reminded me about what I want to be all about. I want to be about reflecting God to others, living love daily, and giving all as worship to God. Imitating God is not about being a fake replica or a generic version of His love. Instead it’s being God’s children and reflecting Christ’s love and giving ourselves to others. I hope to be a genuine imitation of God.
